Wales School for Social Care Research Social Care PHD Studentship Award 2017
The Wales School for Social Care Research (WSSCR) is offering PhD Studentship Awards for social care research. The WSSCR Studentship Award funds talented individuals to undertake high-quality research and study leading to the qualification of PhD.
Projects undertaken as part of this work are expected to have relevance to the social care needs, the public and service users, and/or the organisation and delivery of effective social care services in Wales. The Applicant (i.e the proposed PhD Supervisor) must be based at the Host Institution at the time of applying, the Host Institution must be an organisation based in Wales. Funding available for UK/ EU applications only.
The Wales School for Social Care Research envisages that most PhD Studentships funded through this call will be undertaken on a full-time basis over a three year period. However, it is also possible for Students to undertake the Studentship on a part-time basis over 4 years (75% WTE) or 5 years (60% WTE).
Application deadline is the 15th September 2017 at 5pm.
Applicants must be in a position to commence proposed activities by 1 January 2018
