Dialogue Based Learning and Development
Building on the success of the JRF and Health and Care Research Wales joint funded DEEP project which ended in 2016, we have been building relationships with practitioners, service users and researchers through events and conversations. A research and practice development group has been set up as a result of a conference hosted by the School in Bristol.
Key developments around dialogue based learning and development within the School include:
- Establishing links with academics in academics in England and Wales. This includes an exploration of the transferability of learning from schools development to care home settings, working in partnership with Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
- Working in partnership with Social Care Wales to run a national conference on this subject
- Supporting the development of a bottom-up approach to quality, learning, and development in a large third sector organisation.
If you would like to be involved with the group please get in touch.
